World's Largest and beautiful Snake:
The world’s largest snake is the green anaconda. Anaconda is found in Amazon rain forest of South America. The river Amazon in a home to most of the anaconda snakes in the world.
Anaconda can grow as long as 8 meteres long and wide as a fully grown men. It can reach the weight as much as 250 kilograms.
Male anacondas wrap themselves around the female anacondas in an attempt to mate. Females are stronger than males so they can decide on which males to mate with regardless of its size and strenght. Anacondas gestation period is seven months and their litter size is about 20 to 50.
Anacondas are members of the boa constrictor family. They wrap themselves around the prey to kill and then swallow the victim whole.
Anacondas in the wild spend most of their time hanging out in rivers hunting for their food. They are solitary creatures that are somewhat shy and not many of them are easily seen.
Anacondas like to hang out in rivers so it would be difficult to estimate the length of one seen swimming without seeing the entire snake. It's the anaconda's ability to remain partly hidden in the water that makes it difficult to accurately find a specimen that exceeds the current world's record.
